Social Media Assistant & Gallery Sitter, Post Office Projects

Reporting to the POP Director, the Social Media Assistant is responsible for the scheduling of social media, EDMs and other marketing opportunities. With a key responsibility of gallery sitting on Saturdays, creating a welcoming environment for audiences and artists. This is an exciting role within a small organisation and would suit a new graduate who has an interest learning about galleries.

Applications for the 2026 exhibition program are NOW CLOSED
Post Office Projects Gallery accepts exhibition proposals from early and mid-career artists curators based locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Proposals will be assessed after the closing date and successful applicants will be contacted by the Director. All applications will be assessed against the selection criteria below, and if required, the Director will contact the applicant for more information.
Studios
Applications for the 2026 studio program are open!
Applications close Friday 27th March, 2026
Studio artists will be required to commit to participating in the Post Office Projects Studio Program, including critical discussion groups and being available to meet with visiting curators, colleagues and directors.
